WHOSE WORK IS THIS?
Every piece from this raffle has been graciously donated by makers across the United States.
Each maker has some connection to WNC, whether they live there themselves or have a friend or family member in the area.
You can learn more about individual artists via the Instagram handles below each item’s photo.

WHY WNC?
On September 27th 2024, Hurricane Helene headed further inland than anyone expected, laying waste to much of Western North Carolina and other parts of Southern Appalachia. The area lost power, cell service, and, most importantly, running potable water for weeks on end.
More than four months later, abandoned by any semblance of federal aid and forgotten by the rest of the country, much of WNC is struggling after losing their homes, work, and community.
Writer and fellow queer Appalachian Basil Vaughn Soper writes about the work that Pansy Collective was doing in the first month of the storm for Them, explaining, “Why Pansy Collective?” better than me.
